This place was perfect for ordering a cake for a friend’s gluten-free birthday. The staff were super helpful and they offer a large degree of customisation for cake orders. Went with a chocolate and lavender cake; was not disappointed, it tasted delicious. Would recommend!

Staff seems more concerned about making cakes than helping customers in the store. That includes the owner. Stood for several minutes without so much as a hello. Coffee was terrible. Tasted burnt. Cupcake was pretty good, but not that good.

I ordered a cake for a team appreciation event. The team did not appreciate it. The texture was powdery and the icing very dense. The flavor of the icing was over the top lavender. I was also charged a $30 delivery fee which is quite excessive. Overall experience very disappointed.

Lovely, cozy design, great variety of sweets and drinks, on top of that, all vegan and some are gluten-free!!

We had our wedding cake made at Edible Flours and it was absolutely PERFECT! The cake was so delicious that it was devoured and enjoyed by vegan and non-vegan guests alike and everyone loved it! Highly recommend ordering one of their heavenly cakes for any special events!!

I had a Keto birthday cake 🎂. It was my first time to try it. Overall , it was good experience. However, the cake was not fully cooked. I have to try making it at home to taste cooked Almond flour 😄, may be it is just the almond flour!!

Great bakery, very friendly helpful staff. They went out of their way to accommodate some last minute orders for me, and for what they do, they have extremely reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Such a happy place! In my former life, I would enjoy weekend afternoons here, sipping delicious coffee and enjoying a treat or 7. I love their date square! And their PB cookies... and their jam thumb print... <3

Great vegan bakery. They also have gluten free and sugar free versions of cakes and pastries. I had the sugar free carrot cake with frosting and you could barely tell there was no sugar. Highly recommend!

Was alright, wouldn't go again. The lady who helped me, who I believe was the owner was very awkward and strange, may have been an off day or something. I've made better vegan cinnamon rolls at home. Perhaps her cakes are better?

Not impressed. I usually get vegan cheesecake from Fairy Cakes (absolutely delicious by the way), but their baker was out of town so I had to go elsewhere to get some birthday cakes. The cheesecakes were so bland and I don't feel like I can serve them. I understand this kind of cake is a hard one to get right but if you can't make it well, don't sell it.

Full disclosure, I ate my boyfriends cinnamon bun before I could give it to him! So good 😜

Really delicious cakes. The lemon cake with raspberry frosting is my absolute favourite and so cute for a special occasion. I also really like their savoury tofu spinach rolls and date squares.

We ordered a large GF and vegan (all the cakes are vegan) cake here, vanilla and chocolate, for my daughters first birthday. It was beautifully decorated and the whole cake was enthusiastically eaten by our guests. We literally had every person come up to us to say how delicious the cake was... most of them were shocked it was vegan! (we knew it would be good as often stop by here for treats :) We also got a few mini Keto cup cakes for the babies - they were also great at the parents were happy there was a sugar free option :) Highly recommend this place whatever your dietary choices are!

Girls were too busy baking to acknowledge us. 2 out of 3 pastries were ok if you were experimenting vegan baking at home, but not selling them. S’mores bar was very good hence the extra star :)

Would never come again. Messed up our cake order and blamed it on ‘too many emails and orders’. No apology was given. The cake was ordered for my son’s birthday and they asked us to come on the next day!? It wouldn’t be his birthday the next day! Ridiculous.

Amanda and the team at Edible Flours made our wedding cake a couple of weeks ago and it was incredibly delicious! Guests of all dietary persuasions complimented the cake. We went for a bigger cake thinking we would have leftovers, but our guests devoured it all. The flavour, texture and sweetness were all spot on and the presentation was lovely. Communication in lead up was so easy as well. I will be coming back again for special occasions and regular treats.

We used Edible Flours for our wedding cake and it was phenomenal! My husband is a vegan of 27 years and he LOVED the cake! It was a hit with our guests as well, especially when we told them it was vegan. Customer service was excellent and would highly recommend them!

I Purchased 6 Gluten & Dairy free cupcakes here as a gift for my friend’s anniversary, I was worried I had left it too late as it was the day of the anniversary but the helpful staff told me they could ice a batch of cakes within 5 minutes (it only took them 2!). Pricing is slightly more expensive than your standard bakery, as expected by the specialty ingredients and amazing quality of the products. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of these types of baked goods for events, as well as just a general cafe to hang out in. The decor and ambiance in the cafe is very relaxing and I could easily drink coffee here there for hours!

I really like the treats and dairy free coffees but I find the service isn't that friendly or welcoming... Enough that I feel awkward coming in.

Amazing range of vegan and gluten free cakes and cupcakes. I always get our birthday cakes from here.

Disappointing experience today. I wanted to buy 4 cupcakes, they only had 1 on the shelf, a choc-raspberry, I do not like raspberry at all and who knows how long it's been sitting there drying out. The worker said I had to buy the one that I DON'T like before I can buy ones they can custom made to my liking. In the past they have always been happy to custom make cupcakes even if there are some on the shelf and this only takes a couple minutes for them to do. There fresh cupcakes are surely delicious but I have had many experiences of dried goodies from the shelf when going in at the end of the day. Personally I feel they do not have the best quality of baked goods and poor business sense turning away a paying customer.

We ordered a birthday cake here which was awesome. Unlike other places, the cake and the icing was not overly sweet and was well balanced in terms of flavor. Their cinnamon rolls and brownie are a must have too.

I have a 2 years old who is allergic to gluten, dairy, lentil, tree nuts, coconut and many other foods. I called almost every bakery in the lower mainland and no one was able to bake cake for my kid. Then I called Edible Flours and it was the best decision ever. Edible flours made cake for his cake smash, first birthday and second birthday. I ordered 2 cakes for his second birthday. They both were gone very fast. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our kid's birthday with beautiful and delicious cakes!!

I walked in hoping for a cake however not having ordered in advance..that was not available. She had a dozen cupcakes that she quickly iced for me. They looked beautiful and everyone loved them. The cupcakes were ‘slightly’ dry, but I will totally try them again in the future. Thank you for accommodating me with no notice! 😊

We had a great experience ordering our wedding cake from Edible Flours. My husband is celiac, and allergic to milk and eggs - needless to say it was trickey to find a place that could make us a good wedding cake. Eventually we found Edible Flours, and were super excited to order our cake. The day before the wedding we picked up the cake, and on our way home the icing on the sides started to melt off (possibly heat related; possibly weight related, not really sure why it happened). BUT the owner of Edible Flours was AMAZING, she was so helpful and understanding when we called to say that the icing had fallen off...she drove all the way to Coquitlam to fix the cake for us. It looked perfect on the wedding day! Highly reccomend, great customer service!

Amazing! The savoury scone is my fav, then their cinnamon bun (they have a gf one to!). Can't wait to try one of their custom cakes!

I agree with Chelsea below. Not friendly at all! I was inconveniencing them by picking up a small hundred dollar birthday cake.

Stumbled upon Edible Flours by accident, 2 weeks into an elimination diet that doesn't allow for gluten, dairy or refined sugar. Feels almost like divine intervention that I got to indulge a little bit!! Staff was super helpful and patient in guiding me through their selection and I have to say the Jam Thumprint is divine. Thank you!!

Best vegan cinnamon buns!

Loved the treats! Had a tofu and artichoke bun (I love savoury!) and it was delicious!!! Also the cinnamon bun, nice and fresh, and the s’mores bar that was decadently chocolaty! Can’t wait to go back

Horrible tasteless cake that we honestly had to check if they forgot to add sugar. So embarrassing as it was meant for a party of 20 people yet not even one person ate it. The reply from staff was short and rude. My husband drove from Surrey to Vancouver for it and it just still makes me so upset as they are pricey and it was such a waste of time and money. We have liked their cupcakes previously but will obviously never go here again and cannot recommend it any longer to friends and family. There are far too many good bakeries in the lower mainland to waste money here. Zero stars!

I went all the ay to this store to find out it has changed hands and now prepare vegan goods, not gluten free. If you are looking for gluten free, looks somewhere else.

Amanda and her team are wonderful and the treats are great! I’ve ordered a couple different cakes and cupcakes from them and everything I’ve purchased has been wonderful. Our recent purchase was a gluten-free tropical delight cake and it was delicious. Hard to believe it was both vegan and gluten free.

Best EVER GF and VEGAN baking. Amanda and her team made my recent wedding cake and wedding cupcakes and well, they were a HUGE HIT! Everyone loved all the flavours and no one could tell they were vegan and gluten free. I would recommend Edible Flours for any event with confidence. You will not be disappointed
